Ivanka Trump was observed warmly interacting with friends and engaging in conversation in Miami, while her husband, Jared Kushner, was in Egypt to facilitate discussions between Israel and Hamas.
The first daughter, 43, took a boat trip with her children and close confidantes amid high-stakes Middle East negotiations to end the two-year war.
Last week, her father, President Donald Trump, introduced a peace plan for Gaza, cautioning Hamas that they would encounter severe consequences if they did not disarm and release hostages taken during the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.
The White House announced that Kushner, alongside Steve Witkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, would visit Egypt to ‘finalize the technical details of the hostage release and discuss the lasting peace deal.’
Trump said on Monday that he tapped Kushner because ‘you don’t find anybody more capable.’
The president also suggested that Hamas and Israel are close to an agreement and he was confident of reaching a deal.
Ivanka has tried to step back from politics since her father’s first term, but Kushner has been pulled in to accelerate ceasefire efforts. A White House insider told Daily Mail he is taking a quiet, back-channel role this time.
‘Jared has been very careful about working out of view; he wasn’t on the president’s Middle East trip to Qatar this term,’ the source said. ‘Think of it as peace through strength, using business as a powerful tool.’
‘One of Jared’s first meetings in Trump’s first term was with Tony Blair—they’ve been at this a long time,’ the insider added. ‘It began with the Abraham Accords and has moved into the next phase to push for Middle East peace despite the horror of October 7.’
The source said Kushner ‘has been very involved out of public view.’

Ivanka Trump was seen embracing friends and locked in serious conversations while her husband Jared Kushner was sent to Egypt to broker peace talks between Israel and Hamas.

Meanwhile, it looks like Ivanka was keeping busy in Miami, as she was seen making the most of the day in a strapless, $338 pink-and-white floral patterned one-piece bathing suit by Israel-based designer Shani Shemer

At one point, as she walked towards the boat, it looked like her bathing suit was about to slip off the top, posing threat for a serious wardrobe mishap
‘He’s been very smart on how he’s played this,’ the insider shared.
‘He’s been working this neighborhood for years — the Abraham Accords is his brainchild,’ they continued. ‘The president, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner all view this as a business deal – and they know Trump has all the leverage.’
Meanwhile, kept busy in Miami with the rest of her family.
The strapless swimsuit showed off her toned arms and shoulders, as she spent time with her children playing water sports on the boat.
Ivanka was accompanied by her three children, daughter Arabella, 13, and sons Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 8, as well as some friends and their own children.
