Jaguars' players react after thrilling win over Chiefs on Monday night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. () — The Jacksonville Jaguars are tied for first place in the AFC South after a thrilling win over the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-27, on Monday night.

The game-winning touchdown came on a run from quarterback Trevor Lawrence with under one minute to play in the game to take the lead 30-27. For Lawrence, it was his second rushing touchdown on the night. The first came was from 10 yards out and tied the game at 14.

Lawrence completed 18 of his 25 passes for 221 yards and recorded one passing touchdown and an interception. He now has five interceptions on the year.

Another clutch play from the Jaguars came from Devin Lloyd, who returned an interception 99 yards to give the Jaguars the lead, 21-14, late in the third quarter.

At 4-1, the Jaguars are tied with the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts for first place in the AFC.

The Jaguars will have a short week before they take on the Seattle Seahawks Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at Everbank Stadium.
