JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man has been arrested after police tied him to the murder of a man in the Baymeadows area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

In a release from JSO, the department says they arrested 42-year-old Mark Gordon in connection to the murder of 30-year-old Trevian Jackson on Oct. 4, 2025.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, officers responded to a seafood restaurant on Phillips Highway near Baymeadows Road. The officers could not initially locate a victim however, an hour later, the officers received an alert that Jackson arrived at local hospital with injuries from shooting which he later died from.
