Dolly posted a video to social media captioned “I ain’t dead yet!” In the video, she discusses her health and people’s concerns for her.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dolly Parton posted a video to social media on Wednesday, one day after her sister Freida called on fans to pray for the country music star due to an ongoing health issue.

She later said that she didn’t mean to scare anyone or make Dolly’s health issues sound too serious.

Dolly addressed rumors circulating about her health in her own video. She said that when her late husband Carl got sick, she, “Let a lot of things go that should have been taken care of.”

Dolly added that she’s catching up on things she should have taken care of before. But she said she wanted to put everyone’s mind at ease and let everyone know she’s OK.

“I know lately, everybody thinks I’m sicker than I am. Do I look sick to you? I’m working hard here,” she said in her social media post.

She added that she canceled a few things to stay closer to home and stay closer to the Vanderbilt Hospital, where she said she is undergoing treatments “here and there” but she said she is not dying.

“Did you see that AI picture of Reba and me? Oh Lordy, I mean they had Reba at my deathbed, and we both looked like we need to be buried,” she said in her video. “If I was really dying, I don’t think Reba would be the one at my deathbed.”

Ultimately, Dolly said she is OK and she appreciates everyone’s prayers, but she wanted to address the rumors about her health.

“I’m not ready to die yet,” she said. “I don’t think God is through with me and I ain’t done working.”

She also said she appreciates the care, and to keep praying for her.
