FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. (WSPA) — A Halloween display in Fountain Inn is captivating locals with its elaborate decorations, featuring lights and smoke machines.

The display, which has been mistaken for a fire multiple times, also features an overturned ambulance with a skeleton emerging from it, captivating Upstate residents and visitors alike.

“One of the things we keep hearing is the fire department probably hates you, and actually the opposite—we’re friends with a lot of the firemen,” said one homeowner involved in the display.

The homeowners have coordinated with the local fire department, ensuring they are aware of the display’s nature and purpose. The display has already prompted three or four calls to the fire department this season, with callers mistaking the scene for a real fire.

In addition to the Halloween decorations, the homeowners host a pumpkin patch, offering free pumpkins to visitors. This year’s pumpkin patch is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The homeowners are known in the area for their love of Halloween and their tradition of handing out full-size candy bars to trick-or-treaters.

Despite having set up similar displays in the past, the homeowners noted that their efforts went viral this year, reaching millions of views on TikTok and drawing increased attention and visitors.

To see the house in all its flaming glory or visit this year’s pumpkin patch, the homeowners shared that you can take a drive down Main Street in Fountain Inn.
