Emergency services were called to a Torquay Terrace address at 2.37pm following reports of a disturbance between a group of men, some of whom were known to each other.

Investigators are trying to determine if anyone else was involved.

“There was a number of people at that address yesterday afternoon and some of them were known to each other, however the accused and the victim were not known to each other,” Craig Mansfield from Queensland Police said.

Police will allege a 40-year-old was assaulted at a Fraser Street address before he died at the Torquay Terrace address.
