Dallas Cowboys (-3) over CAROLINA PANTHERS

The Panthers are gearing up for another home game victory, this time against the Cowboys. While neither team is a dominant force in the league, the upcoming Sunday matchup promises to be more challenging than last week’s encounter.

Even with the setback of CeeDee Lamb’s injury, the Cowboys remain a strong contender for having one of the best offenses in the NFL. Last week, they demonstrated their prowess by defeating the Jets on the road, following a tie with the Green Bay Packers, a team often mentioned in Super Bowl discussions.

Despite the CeeDee Lamb injury, the Cowboys are in the conversation for the best offense in football.

Last week, they took care of the Jets on the road after tying the supposed Super Bowl contender Packers.

Carolina escaped with a three-point win over the Dolphins thanks to a career day from Rico Dowdle, who ran for 206 yards.

The Cowboys’ run defense isn’t much better than Miami’s, but that type of output from a backup running back shouldn’t be counted upon.

Make this the first of two road favorites we’re putting our money behind in Week 6.

New England Patriots (-3) over NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Drake Maye is coming off the biggest win of his young NFL career. Is he really going to let the lowly Saints keep this close?

Maye and the Patriots pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season, handing the Bills their first loss of the season in Buffalo.

The Saints had their best game of the year, too, getting their first win over the Giants. Yes, the Giants — let’s not get too excited.

Betting on the NFL?

Big Blue made mistake after mistake, essentially handing New Orleans to win by turning the ball over five times, including three by rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Maye will be much more polished Sunday, setting up the Saints for a Superdome letdown after finally getting in the win column.

LAST WEEK: 1-1. Lions (W), Vikings-Browns Under (L).

SEASON: 3-7.
