An Indianapolis Colts cheerleader received a heartwarming surprise when her boyfriend proposed to her right on the field, turning an ordinary game day into an unforgettable moment.
Mika, a member of the Colts cheer squad, was performing her routine during a game against the Arizona Cardinals at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, October 12, unaware of the surprise that awaited her.
Her boyfriend, Spencer, orchestrated a romantic gesture by walking through a pathway formed by Mika’s fellow cheerleaders, who lifted their pom-poms high. He sported a blue-and-white jersey emblazoned with the words “Marry Me” on the back.
The unsuspecting Mika only realized what was happening when Spencer appeared behind her, dropping to one knee with a sparkling ring in his hand. Overcome with emotion, she fought back tears and joyfully accepted his proposal, sealing the moment with a kiss. The cheerleading team, equally thrilled, surrounded the couple to share in their joy with a heartfelt group hug.
βGonna be a hard routine to beat ππ Congratulations, Mika and Spencer!β the official Colts Cheer Instagram posted.
βBEST DAY EVER π€π€ THANK YOU EVERYONE!!β Mika commented in return.
Mika also celebrated the momentous occasion with her own post, sharing photos from Sundayβs game. βThe most amazing day made possible by the most amazing people ππ,β she wrote.

Spencer and Mika are set to celebrate their two-year anniversary in December.
Earlier this year, the lovebirds enjoyed a βmagical birthdayβ at Disney World Magic Kingdom Orlando. Her husband-to-be was also her date for a wedding they attended last July at the Akron Art Museum.
βRoses are redπΉ Violets are blue Your dress is lilac And it looks stunning on you,β he captioned the photo of them dressed to impress for the occasion.
Not only did Mika get engaged on Sunday, but her team secured a 31-27 win over the Cardinals. Quarterback Daniel Jones helped lead the Colts to victory, while running back Jonathan Taylor secured one yard for the score with just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rookie tight end Tyler Warren caught six passes for 63 yards and scored a touchdown.
Jones, 28, is now being praised for his accomplishment. βOnly two QBs have led the Colts to 5 wins through 6 weeks since 2000 Peyton Manning Daniel Jones,β NFL on CBS posted via X.
βWe had to make sure we fought through and played together till the end,β Taylor, 26, said of the last-minute win. βI think it just showed the way we continued fighting, scratching, clawing and then down at the end we had to be dominant on the line of scrimmage.β
βWe knew it was going to be a back-and-forth game,β Colts coach Shane Steichen also shared. βAnd it was great to see the offense there at the end, go down and get that touchdown to go up 31-27.β
Looking ahead, the Colts will take on the Los Angeles Chargers on October 19.
