Keanu Reeves, the beloved actor known for his roles in films like The Matrix, has been enjoying a fortunate romantic journey, much to the delight of his fans. Recently, he and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, found themselves at the center of swirling marriage rumors, which Alexandra quickly addressed on social media, confirming that the couple has not yet tied the knot.

So much so that he and girlfriend Alexandra Grant even sparked marriage rumors last month, though she was quick to clarify on social media that the couple hasn’t made it down the aisle. Still, the Matrix star admitted the speculation didn’t bother him too much.

“Well, that wasn’t the first time,” Keanu quipped in an exclusive interview with E! News Oct. 13 at the New York City premiere of his new movie Good Fortune. “We’ve been going out for a long time.”

“The wedding, it’s a nice thing,” he reflected. “There were a lot of nice messages and good intentions, but Alexandra addressed it beautifully. She said, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality,’” he added, appreciating her candid and thoughtful response.

“The wedding, it’s a nice thing,” he continued. “People did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’”

Indeed, the visual artist had some fun when letting the world know that she and the John Wick actor had not, in fact, gotten married.
