MANHATTAN — The New York City premiere of ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ was held on Monday night at Disney headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

The event saw the cast and creative team make their entrance on the iconic green carpet, ready to share insights into the making of this gripping series. The story delves into the life of Alex Murdaugh, a distinguished attorney who shockingly became a convicted murderer, unraveling a tale of betrayal and tragedy.

Jason Clark steps into the challenging role of Alex Murdaugh, while Patricia Arquette portrays his wife, Maggie, bringing depth and emotion to this real-life drama. The series promises to captivate audiences with its exploration of the complexities behind the headlines.

Entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo was on hand to interview the stars, gaining exclusive insights into their experiences and the intricate process of bringing such a compelling story to the screen.

“I wanted to honor all of these women, you know, women who deal with abuse, most likely at the hands of their intimate partner, you know, any kind of violence. So I wanted to honor that,” Arquette said.

“I understood how this man could pull the wool over so many people’s eyes. You look back in hindsight and everyone goes oh he was bad but you know this community, not just the family, not just Maggie and Paul, but this community were betrayed,” Clark said.

The first three episodes of ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ drop on Hulu on Wednesday.
