Coles Co. court finds man accused of attacking people with axe unfit for trial

A Coles County man accused of assaulting two individuals with an axe and a chair has been deemed unfit to face trial, according to recent court proceedings in Mattoon, Illinois.

Matthew Estes, aged 50, attended a status hearing on October 14, where a court-ordered fitness evaluation revealed that he is not currently capable of standing trial.
