Netflix’s smash-hit animated film is making a triumphant return to cinemas for a special three-day celebration, where fans are encouraged to don costumes and join in the musical fun.

WASHINGTON — The animated sensation, Huntr/x, will be lighting up the big screen once more this Halloween!

The streaming giant has revealed that the beloved animated musical starring the fictional band “KPop Demon Hunters” will be back in theaters for an exclusive sing-along experience.

This limited-time event is scheduled from October 31 to November 2 and will be showcased in all AMC, Regal, and Cinemark theaters across the U.S. and Canada, alongside select venues.

Additionally, fans worldwide can join in as it opens in cinemas across the UK, Ireland, Korea, Spain, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia.

The film centers on Huntr/x, a KPop superstar trio who double as demon hunters. The members, Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong) and Zooey (Ji-young Yoo), must protect their fans and face their biggest enemy yet: a rival boy band made up of demons in disguise.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 17 at 6 a.m. PT for the U.S. and Canada. Fans can visit the official website to find a screening near them, while those overseas are encouraged to check local listings.

This marks the second theatrical run for the film. In August, it became Netflix’s first-ever No. 1 box-office title, grossing $16-18 million in ticket sales in just one weekend.

The sing-along event invites viewers to dress up in costume as their favorite characters and belt out hits like “Golden,” “How It’s Done” and “Soda Pop.” Characters from the movie are expected to be among this year’s most popular Halloween costumes.

“KPop Demon Hunters” has become Netflix’s most-watched animated original film to date since its June 20 release. It recently made history as the first soundtrack with four songs simultaneously on Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, including “Golden” at No. 1, and has surpassed 7 billion global streams.
