WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A woman facing charges in the deaths of two Kansas mothers entered a plea of no contest to multiple accusations on Tuesday.
Tifany Adams was convicted in Texas County, Oklahoma, on two counts each of first-degree murder, unlawful removal of a dead body, and unlawful desecration of a human corpse.

The tragic events unfolded on March 30, 2024, when Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley vanished during a journey from Hugoton, Kansas, to Oklahoma, where they intended to collect Butler’s children.

Authorities discovered the women’s bodies two weeks later, concealed within a chest freezer buried in a field. Both victims had suffered fatal stab wounds.
