Megyn Kelly says she'd run for president to stop Ocasio-Cortez

Megyn Kelly, a prominent voice in conservative media, stirred the political waters on Thursday with her comments about a potential presidential candidacy. The former Fox News anchor stated she might consider entering the race if Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) decided to make a bid for the White House.

Laying into the progressive lawmaker Thursday on her podcast and radio show, Kelly exclaimed “eff that woman.”

“If she runs for president, I might run,” Kelly declared, adding with determination, “I’ll find my way onto the ticket somehow. There’s just no way this person should run for president or be president. Absolutely not.”

Kelly’s remarks came as a response to recent criticism from Ocasio-Cortez, who accused the Republican Party of “radicalizing” young men and inciting violence. This accusation struck a nerve with Kelly, who fired back, suggesting that it was Ocasio-Cortez’s own party responsible for such radicalization.

“Indeed, it was your party, madam, that radicalized today’s young men,” Kelly retorted. “Your side blamed them for almost everything, simply for being born male. It’s audacious to now point fingers at the Republican Party after demonizing them and dismissing their struggles,” she argued, accusing Ocasio-Cortez of hypocrisy and misrepresentation.

Known for her steadfast support of former President Trump, Kelly has built a formidable presence within the conservative media landscape. Her career, spanning several years across both cable and network news, has garnered her a significant following among conservative audiences.

She frequently spars on social media and on her show with liberal pundits, Democratic lawmakers and top media figures who are critical of the president.
