CHICAGO (WGN) – An unexpected incident unfolded at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday afternoon as two United Airlines planes collided on the tarmac. This rare occurrence involved UA2652, which was maneuvering towards its designated gate when it clipped the horizontal stabilizer of another United jet, which was parked and unoccupied at the time.

The aircraft in motion, UA2652, had 113 passengers along with five crew members on board. Despite the unsettling event, all passengers and crew members were safely disembarked, and there were no injuries reported.
