Christina Applegate is offering fans a candid glimpse into her personal life.
The former star of Dead to Me has recently ventured into the realm of social media, creating a new profile to connect more intimately with her audience. Despite this leap, she confessed to feeling a bit surprised by her decision.
“If someone had told me last year that I’d be joining Instagram, I would have told them to get lost!” she expressed in a post dated Oct. 16. “But here I am, embracing it on my terms — genuine, raw, and honest.”
Applegate, who revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021, included a striking black-and-white image with her post. In the photo, the 53-year-old is seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, looking intently at the camera.
She explained, “This is my favorite recent picture, taken by my lifelong friend @kevingrackle in my backyard. It includes the chimes that remind me of my mother and a moon necklace gifted by a dear, mystical friend. -C”
