Sharon Osbourne recently shared the heartbreaking news of her 14-year-old dog, Elvis, passing away on Sunday, following the earlier loss of her husband, Ozzy.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sharon revealed the sad news about Elvis, her beloved pet, just months after the death of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.

Accompanying the announcement were four touching photos that captured moments with herself, her late husband, and their cherished dog, Elvis.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my dear Elvis this week. He blessed me with 14 wonderful years,” Sharon expressed. “He remained by my side until the very end. Rest peacefully, my sweet boy!”

Elvis, a small Siberian Husky, was among the many cherished pets that have been part of the Osbourne family over the years.

“Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed,” daughter Kelly Osbourne wrote on social media. “He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him.”

She called him “one of a kind” and a treasure.

Ozzy Osbourne previously mentioned his love of dogs on “The Madhouse Chronicles” podcast with friend Billy Morrison.

“My house always has to have a little guy in there, a little dog in there,” Ozzy Osbourne said in a clip shared July 12, 2024. “Someone once told me ‘a house without a dog is like a garden without flowers’ and that’s so (expletive) true.”

Sharon Osbourne turned 73 on Oct. 9, just over a week before she broke the sad news about her most recent loss.

Her husband died July 22 and the couple had been married for more than 40 years.

According to the reports, Osbourne died of “(a) Out of hospital cardiac arrest (b) Acute myocardial infarction (c) Coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes).”

Osbourne passed away at age 76, surrounded by loved ones, according to a family statement shared to his official Instagram account at the time.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the post read. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
