During a Sunday discussion, President Trump labeled the “No Kings” protests targeting him over the weekend as merely a “joke,” dismissing accusations of him behaving like royalty.
“I’m not a king. I’m working tirelessly to enhance our nation’s greatness. That’s the truth. I’m far from being a king,” Trump asserted to reporters aboard Air Force One as he returned to Washington, D.C. from Florida.
The weekend saw millions participating in “No Kings” gatherings nationwide, rallying against Trump and his administration. An estimated 2,600 protests took place across all 50 states, with significant turnout in major cities such as Washington, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
