Tragedy struck early Monday morning when a cargo plane arriving from Dubai veered off course during its landing at a Hong Kong airport, resulting in the deaths of two airport security officers, according to local authorities.
In what is being called Hong Kong’s most severe airport tragedy in decades, both the patrol vehicle and the Boeing 747 ended up in the sea. Fortunately, all four crew members aboard the aircraft managed to escape without injuries.
