JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Authorities in Johnson City remain on the lookout for a suspect linked to a shooting incident at a local Waffle House early Sunday, which resulted in one individual being injured.

The Johnson City Police Department (JCPD) has announced that they have issued a warrant for 25-year-old Raekwon Grimes. He faces charges of aggravated assault and unlawful weapon possession.
Grimes is identifiable by a tattoo on the left side of his neck that reads, “the world is yours,” according to police information.
The JCPD urges anyone who might have knowledge of Grimes’ location to reach out by calling 423-434-6007 or Crime Stoppers at 423-930-6535. For those wishing to remain anonymous, tips can be sent via text by messaging 423JCPD followed by your information to 847411 (TIP411).
Early Sunday at approximately 4 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Waffle House situated on North State of Franklin Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered a victim who had sustained multiple gunshot injuries.
