Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton have embarked on parenthood!
The beloved stars of Love Is Blind joyfully announced the arrival of their first child, a son named Ezra William Hamilton, who was born on October 1.
The couple took to Instagram to share their joyous news, mentioning that baby Ezra made his entrance “a little earlier than planned, but perfectly on God’s time.”
“Following an unexpected bout with preeclampsia and several days in the hospital, we’ve been taking things slowly… focusing on healing, resting, and cherishing all the love,” the couple wrote in a heartfelt caption. They included a collection of adorable family photos featuring themselves and their newborn.
Back in August, the couple creatively announced they were expecting a boy with a black-and-white gender reveal video. The video featured a mock newspaper, The Hamilton Herald, delivered to their doorstep, boasting the headline, “Baby Hamilton Gender Revealed.”
Moments later, the video burst into color with the message, “Extra! Extra! It’s a boy! A little prince is on the way coming to a crib near you.”
The reveal, set to JVKE’s “Golden Hour,” showed Lauren jumping with joy before sharing a kiss with Cameron.
The baby news marked a special chapter in their four-year journey to parenthood. In May, the Hamiltons revealed that they conceived through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) after years of trying to start a family.
“We were counting down the days ‘til we could test because we did IVF,” Cameron told People at the time. “We did the classic test and we both went into the bathroom to look.”
Lauren added that seeing the word pregnant brought her to tears. “We just looked at each other. I fell to my knees and cried.”
Throughout the IVF process, Lauren underwent daily injections and treatments, something Cameron said deepened their bond. “You showed me a new level of love that I’d never seen before,” he told her during an episode of their The Love Seat podcast.
