Skai Jackson recently spent a delightful day at a nearby pumpkin patch with her son, Kasai.

On Monday, the actress shared glimpses of their family adventure on Instagram, posting a series of heartwarming photos.

The images captured the Jessie star dressed in an all-black ensemble, lovingly holding Kasai, who looked charming in a striped onesie, a black bib, and tiny patterned shoes.

One image showed the curious little boy sitting amidst the pumpkins, reaching toward one, while another photo featured Skai’s mom, Kiya Cole, assisting her grandson as he explored the patch.

Jackson captioned the post succinctly: “October dump.”

Skai welcomed her son, Kasai, in January 2025 with her ex-boyfriend, Deondre Burgin.

During an interview with E! News at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood event earlier this year, the entertainer opened up about the joy she’s found in everyday moments since becoming a mom.

“There’s so many favorite moments,” Skai said “I feel like just seeing my baby every day.”

She added that watching Kasai grow has been a daily blessing. “It’s just an amazing moment seeing them grow each day by each day.”

The Shereos star also opened up about the lessons she’s learned as a young mother. “I’ve learned just how strong I am in this process of being a young mom. Being a mom and getting back to work, that’s another favorite thing of mine.”

She added, “I have a lot of support and help, it’s been so amazing, so I’m able to balance both of it.”

Before welcoming Kasai, Skai said she looked to her mother, Kiya, for guidance and inspiration.

“She has inspired me so much, just her worst ethic alone,” she explained “and just seeing everything that she did for me to get me here in this position.”
