A Delta Air Lines flight attendant was captured on video in a heated confrontation with a Southwest Airlines gate agent, criticizing her for being “ghetto” and unprofessional. The incident unfolded in front of numerous travelers at a terminal.

The male flight attendant, dressed in his Delta uniform, had just arrived at Atlanta Airport when he confronted the female Southwest employee. According to a video shared on Instagram by @thecrewroom_, he accused her of providing poor customer service.

The Delta attendant was heard expressing his frustration, stating, “This is ridiculous. This is the worst airport, and y’all make Southwest look horrible,” as he accompanied the rival airline agent through the terminal. “That customer service is ridiculous,” he continued.

As the Southwest employee proceeded toward the gate, the visibly agitated Delta attendant followed, pulling his suitcase and criticizing her demeanor as “ghetto.”

He went on to say, “That’s because it’s Atlanta, y’all have no respect for customer service. Y’all need to clean it up, clean it up because I’m just trying to take a flight,” while emphasizing that he has the option to fly Delta instead of Southwest.

Trying not to escalate things further, the Southwest gate agent can be seen raising her hand up and heard asking the enraged flight attendant to lower his “tone,” which appears to only outrage him more.

“Get your hands out of my face,” he demands. “You are something. You are nothing. Where’s your name tag at? You ghetto.”

The furious flight attendant ranted that coworkers had told him “not to come here” and “not to transfer here” because staff were “ridiculous and ghetto.”

“Atlanta gotta clean itself up — this is supposed to be the Black Mecca, and y’all can’t even carry yourself with class,” he shouts.

She then tells him to take Delta back home if he’s unhappy, prompting him to start boasting, “I don’t have to take Southwest, I can take Delta.”

The Southwest worker eventually walks away, as the flight attendant continues his rant to the traveler, recording the heated argument before the video ends.

It’s unclear what prompted the rival airline workers to start mouthing off at each other.

The viral video, posted on Friday, had people in the comments torn over who to side with.

“ATL does suck with their customer service, he ain’t lying,” one user claimed, siding with the Delta flight attendant.

“I understand where he’s coming from, which is why I love self-service kiosks. Anything to avoid dealing with a human,” wrote another.

“Not just Atlanta, the entire state of Georgia has horrible customer service,” added another.

However, others called out the Delta employee for his lack of professionalism and for going off while repping the airline’s uniform.

“Sir you were doing too much in uniform,” one user commented.

“There is a time, place, and way to handle issues respectfully and professionally. He did neither. He allowed his ego to outshine his uniform. He should be required to do a public apology if he wants to keep his job. He misrepresented the Delta brand,” another user added.

“Baby! I know Delta done clipped those wings!” commented another.
