Lindsie Landsman, the eldest daughter of Todd Chrisley, is finally speaking out about her family amid the launch of Lifetime’s The Chrisleys: Back To Reality.
Lindsie Chrisley, widely recognized for her five-season role on USA Network’s popular show Chrisley Knows Best, is opening up about the alleged turmoil and blackmail she faced at the hands of her family through her podcast platforms.
A recently premiered Lifetime documentary delves into the Chrisley family’s challenges, highlighting Lindsie’s complicated relationship with her parents, from whom she has been mostly estranged. However, Lindsie asserts that the documentary does not accurately portray the reality of her circumstances.
“I never intended to go public with this,” Lindsie explained. “The Lifetime documentary about my family was released, and many of the events depicted were not true representations of what really happened.”
Having recently changed her last name to Landsman, Lindsie is preparing to share her side of the story in a three-part podcast series. These episodes will be featured on her shows “The Southern Tea” and “Coffee Convos,” the latter of which she co-hosts with Teen Mom personality Kail Lowry. The series kicks off on October 22 with “The Southern Tea,” continues on October 23 with “Coffee Convos,” and concludes with exclusive Patreon content on October 24. The complete series will be publicly available on October 29.
Lindsie alleges that she has been coerced into silence, wrongly accused, and blackmailed by her family members. Her serious claims include reaching out to Georgia’s Department of Revenue and the FBI in response to her father’s indictment. Additionally, she sought a restraining order against her father, Todd Chrisley, whom she accuses of trying to manipulate her by threatening to release a private video if she refused to lie on his behalf in court.
Her siblings have publicly responded to her claims. On the Lifetime special, Savannah Chrisley stated, “The prosecutors read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI. We’re no longer family.” Chase Chrisley added, “If your blood will screw you over, then a stranger definitely will.”
Landsman is using her podcasts to share her side of the story and provide context that the documentary allegedly left out. She promises to reveal the emotional and psychological toll the family feud has taken on her life, as a daughter, a woman, and a mother striving to protect her peace and reclaim her narrative.
“I will share my truth,” Landsman said. The conversations will be backed by never-before-seen documentation, including legal letters, emails and filings, offering a more complete picture of the events she endured.
