Kristie Mewis has revealed the sweet nickname she and her fiancée, Sam Kerr, have for their little one, Jagger.

The 34-year-old midfielder for the US Women’s National Team welcomed Jagger into the world in May. She recently shared a heartwarming photo of them both at Stamford Bridge, where they were cheering on Kerr during her match for Chelsea.

But the moment wasn’t all about football. In the caption, Mewis revealed the couple’s affectionate nickname for their son: “Mr. Moo Moo.” She also invited followers to share their own funniest nicknames for their kids.

Kerr offered a humorous twist on the nickname, commenting, “Mr. sh**througheverything” — a sentiment that many new parents might find relatable.

Mewis and Kerr, who recently celebrated Kerr’s 100th career goal for Chelsea, started their relationship in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, making their romance public the following year.

The couple announced their engagement in November 2023 and have been open about their relationship and the importance of visibility ever since.

In a pre-engagement interview with Gaffer, Mewis said: “I think just being out and being two girls in love, if we can change one or two people’s lives and the way they feel about each other, that means a lot to me.

“I love to share my relationship on social media,” she added. “If we can change how one or two people feel about themselves, they can look at us, see that we’re happy, and know that we’re trying to be successful as an out gay couple. I think that’s so important.”
