A man from New York state has been formally charged with the murder of his wife, whose body was discovered on Tuesday after being reported missing over the weekend.
According to the New York State Police, 25-year-old Chloe Henry was last known to be with her 33-year-old husband, Keith Henry, before being reported missing at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities suspect that Keith Henry fatally shot his wife in his vehicle in the town of Peru, subsequently transporting her body nearly 30 miles to Chazy. Her remains were located at the Lake Alice Wildlife Management Area on Tuesday, as detailed by state police reports.
Keith Henry faces charges of second-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
In court, he entered a plea of not guilty and was denied bail, leading to his detention. A grand jury is currently reviewing the case, as mentioned by WPTZ.
