In a surprising twist to an ongoing investigation, Mladen Trifunovic, the landlord of a luxury property rented by Burke for a steep $20,000 a month, has enlisted the expertise of private investigator Steve Fischer. Trifunovic is determined to uncover the mysterious happenings within his upscale home.
The need for Fischer’s involvement arose shortly after law enforcement executed a search warrant at the residence. Interestingly, the warrant was served in the absence of the occupants, and no documentation was left to clarify what officials were searching for or what they seized. Fischer’s role is critical in piecing together additional insights for the authorities, ensuring no stone is left unturned in the quest to discover the truth behind Celeste’s tragic fate.
The Los Angeles Police Department has revealed that Celeste’s body had been in a state of decomposition for several weeks before being found in Burke’s Tesla. According to Fischer, he’s reviewed surveillance footage from neighboring properties, which provides a timeline of when the Tesla was last relocated and identifies the individual responsible for moving it to the site from which it was eventually towed in late July. However, Fischer remains tight-lipped on the specifics, opting to hold back this information for now.
Burke’s Tesla, which was once a part of his daily routine and maintained in pristine condition, presented a stark contrast when it was finally retrieved. The vehicle was not only filthy but also bore significant body damage. Fischer noted the car seemed to have endured rough terrain, possibly desert trails, given the battered wheel wells and a prominent dent at the back.
Amidst this disarray, a peculiar detail stands out. The once-cherished Tesla was left neglected by the curb for weeks, while a spotless, red Tesla sat securely in the garage, hinting at a curious shift in Burke’s priorities and lifestyle.
Surveillance cameras in the Hollywood Hills build a complete timeline showing when Burke’s Tesla was parked on Bluebird Avenue, who parked it, and whether anything was placed in the vehicle after it was parked.
There is also no evidence indicating Celeste’s body was transferred into the Tesla AFTER it was parked on the street.
