Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is set to issue an executive order on Thursday, addressing recent federal deployments within the state.

The signing ceremony will be available to watch live on this page at 9 a.m. Central Time.

According to the governor’s office, the executive order aims to ensure accountability for Illinois residents amid the presence of federal agents. This move comes in the wake of heightened tensions as demonstrators demand increased transparency and accountability from federal agents involved in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.
