Kylie Says She’s Always Wanted To Do Music

Kylie surprised many fans earlier this week when she released her first-ever song, a track called “Fourth Strike” which she teamed up with artist Terror Jr. to create. On her personal YouTube channel, Kylie released a Q&A video to give her followers the low-down on this next chapter of her career.

In the video, Kylie, who is the owner of a multi-million dollar beauty brand, admits that, beyond fashion or cosmetics, it’s music that’s always captured her interest. She swears that it’s been something she’s been curious about for as long as she can remember:

Well, you know, this is, like, my dream. I’ve been talking about this since I came out of the womb. I wanted to be a pop star — or, I don’t know what I am. But I just never had the confidence.

It seems that Kylie has finally found the confidence to dip her toe in the water of the music scene. She may even be taking on a different persona, as in the details for “Fourth Strike,” she’s credited as “King Kylie.”

That said, she still managed to be self-deprecating about the major swing that she was taking. She explained that the single was just the start of what was going to eventually be an entire album, though she joked, “If the album fails, we’ll just listen to it ourselves and enjoy it.”

Fans Appear Supportive Of Kylie’s Pivot

In the comments of the Q&A video, there was overwhelming support for this next chapter of Kylie’s life. Fans praised her not only for her confidence to step into music, but about her appearance and overall demeanor, too:
