Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Friday that since January, over 4,300 undocumented immigrants have been deported from the Minneapolis area. Among them were 3,316 individuals with criminal records, 98 gang members, 11 identified or suspected terrorists, and two fugitives from abroad.

During a press briefing alongside ICE officials, Noem revealed that the administration has arrested and deported 515,000 undocumented immigrants across the nation since the beginning of the year, with 70% of those individuals facing criminal charges.

“Our duty is to enforce the law,” Noem stated, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to expelling “the worst of the worst” offenders.
