AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins. The arrests come after deputies responded to a call at the Parc at Flowing Wells Apartments early Wednesday morning, October 22, around 6:30 a.m., following reports of multiple vehicles being unlawfully accessed.
During the investigation, officers obtained a search warrant for a vehicle believed to contain a variety of stolen items, including firearms. This discovery was critical in the ongoing investigation into the string of auto break-ins.
As the investigation unfolded, deputies successfully apprehended several suspects. Among those arrested was Anario Carter, who now faces serious charges, including nine counts of Entering an Auto, one count of Financial Transaction Card Theft, and one count of Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
This incident highlights the diligence of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office in swiftly addressing criminal activities and ensuring community safety. The investigation remains active as authorities continue to piece together the full extent of the crimes.
