The high school football regular season in Central Illinois wrapped up with an exciting finale, as teams battled it out for a chance at better seeding, playoff bids, and one last chance to shine in front of their home fans.

In a thrilling showdown, Rochester edged out Sacred Heart-Griffin with a close score of 31-28, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Meanwhile, Oakwood secured a victory over Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, finishing the game 21-13.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley delivered a commanding performance against Ridgeview/Lexington, achieving a decisive win with a score of 55-27. On the other hand, Bloomington dominated their matchup with Centennial, concluding the game with a strong 37-6 win.

These games not only marked the end of the regular season but also set the stage for the upcoming playoffs, with teams eager to continue their quest for championship glory.
