Delta flight to Salt Lake forced to turn around midflight due to 'unpleasant odor'

A Delta Air Lines flight headed to Salt Lake City had to make an unexpected return to Los Angeles due to an “unpleasant odor” detected during the trip.

Flight 2311, which took off from Los Angeles on October 18, was carrying 189 passengers, along with two pilots and four flight attendants.
