New York Attorney General Letitia James fervently denied fraud allegations on Friday, asserting her innocence against charges she claims stem from a Justice Department being wielded as a “tool of revenge.”

Speaking to a supportive audience who welcomed her with enthusiastic applause, James expressed her gratitude, stating their demonstrations have “fortified my spirit and grounded my soul.”

She emphasized, “This isn’t just about me—it’s about us all and a justice system that has been turned into a weapon.”

The allegations against James involve falsifying mortgage documents to secure more advantageous loan conditions for a property in Virginia.
