On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Stacey Rusch took the spotlight to share candid insights about her personal life and her interactions with fellow reality stars. Notably, she addressed her recent emotional reunion with Wendy Osefo, clarified her connection to Chris Samuels, and threw a bit of shade at Gizelle Bryant, calling her “petty.”

Following a dramatic episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Stacey, who is 53, didn’t hold back as she responded to Gizelle’s comments about her robe. She also touched upon her past relationships with Thomas Anthony “TJ” Jones and her former husband, Thiemo Rusch. In addition, she discussed whether she had contacted Karen Huger, 62, after her release from jail, and she provided some updates on her burgeoning cannabis line.

Reflecting on her recent encounter with Wendy Osefo, Stacey revealed an emotional side. “I saw Wendy last week, and it was emotional. We just held each other. I support her. I’m her friend, and I can’t wait for her to tell her story,” Stacey shared. Wendy, aged 41, is currently in the spotlight due to her recent arrest on fraud charges.

When asked about her connection with Monique Samuels’ ex-husband, Chris Samuels, and whether she anticipated the topic surfacing on the show, Stacey confessed she was caught off guard by the development, saying she “wasn’t expecting that.”

Moving on to her relationship with Monique Samuels‘ ex-husband, and whether she thought the issue would come up on the show, Stacey said she “wasn’t expecting that.”

“I know Chris socially, and he’s a great guy, so I was completely floored that I was sort of guilty by association,” she stated. “Just because you know someone doesn’t mean that you’re dating them. It’s ridiculous.”

As for Gizelle singling her out by failing to monogram her robe on Sunday’s RHOP, Stacey said the behavior was “so petty.”

“That’s so Gizelle, right? Pretty and always petty,” she noted.

Stacey was then asked about her regrets about the TJ situation and about Thiemo’s reaction.

“My husband is very private. He is not into TV. He’s just a very private, German, good man and a great father. And I think that sometimes bad situations teach you good lessons in life, and so that was a tough situation for me, but I’ve moved forward and look at me now,” she proclaimed. 

While TMZ recently confirmed that she and Thiemo were actually divorced, despite rumors to the contrary, Stacey admitted that she didn’t feel vindicated.

“I don’t feel vindicated because I have been maintaining that I’m telling the truth about my life, so it’s not a big surprise to me cuz it’s the truth,” she explained. 

After confirming she “[had] not” spoken to Karen since her release, Stacey was asked if Robyn Dixon, 46, should return to the show.

“I don’t know her — not like in the Mariah way. I really don’t know her,” she replied, proceeding to diss Robyn’s husband, Juan Dixon, 47, and Angel Massie’s husband, Bobby Massie, 36, after being asked if Bobby had dethroned Juan as the hottest RHOP spouse.

“Are those the choices?” she asked. 

Stacey went on to further claim that Gizelle is “in a relationship” before answering a fan’s question about how she maintains her composure amid cast pile-ons.

“I think when you know who you are, like, I know who I am, I know my truth, and you cannot shake me. I will always rise,” she stated.

Also on the live broadcast, after one of the Smith Sisters admitted they were “appalled” by her reunion with Thiemo, Stacey said that “when someone’s worth spinning the block for, you repeat.”

She then addressed Gizelle’s claim that she lied about her cannabis line at the season nine reunion.

“Did I, Andy? She said, ‘Do you have a cannabis line,’ and I said, ‘No,’ because I didn’t,” she stated. “I do now. I’m the first Black woman in the state of Virginia to own her own cannabis line. But yeah, at the time when she asked me that question, I did not have a cannabis line. I do have a cannabis line now. I’ve made history, and I’m very proud of myself. You don’t have to allow other people to steal your thunder or announce things when they want to. It’s all in good timing, and at the time, I didn’t have the line, and I wanted to talk about it when I wanted to talk about it.”

As for whether the line was in progress at the time of Gizelle’s statement, Stacey clarified that it “wasn’t a done deal.”

“Stealing my thunder means announcing something that hadn’t even come into fruition. I have meetings about a lot of things … I didn’t have a line at the time. But now I do,” she explained.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Stacey was asked about Gizelle’s claim of having seen the supposed contract between her and TJ, which allegedly proved that she agreed to pay him to appear alongside her on season nine.

“I mean, Gizelle herself has said that she makes stuff up. So I don’t even know what she saw. I don’t know what it is cuz I’ve never seen it. So I can’t talk about it. And no one’s shown me anything. So how can I talk about something, [if] I don’t even know what it is?” she asked.
