The FBI is currently examining a strand of hair connected to the long-unsolved murder of Amy Mihaljevic, hoping it might finally lead them to the person responsible for the abduction and murder of the young girl.

Amy Mihaljevic vanished in 1989 from Bay Village, Ohio. According to her friends, she had been receiving phone calls from a mysterious man who had gained her trust by offering to help her buy a present for her mother. Witnesses reported seeing a man approach her around the time of her disappearance.

Several months later, in early 1990, Amy’s body was discovered alongside a desolate road, leaving a community in mourning and investigators with few leads.
