Courteney Cox recently captivated listeners with a chilling ghost story.

The beloved Friends actress recounted to Howard Stern an eerie encounter she had with a delivery man who arrived with more than just a package.

“I opened the door to receive my delivery,” Courteney shared during a 2022 episode of Stern’s SiriusXM show. “The guy looks at me and says, ‘Did you know your house is haunted?’ I asked him why he thought that, and he replied, ‘Because there’s someone standing behind you.’ In that moment, I thought, ‘Oh no!'”

This wasn’t her only brush with the supernatural. Courteney also described a frightening moment she experienced while in London.

“I had just arrived,” the Scream star recounted. “Even though I was a little jet-lagged, I wasn’t asleep. As I sat there with my eyes closed, trying to rest, I suddenly saw these terrifying, aged faces. I tried to shake it off but couldn’t help but think, ‘Mom? Dad? Auntie Em?’ It was as if all these strange images kept flooding my mind.”

After also seeing lights and a plant move, Courteney alerted her longtime love Johnny McDaid.

“I was like, ‘Johnny! Wake up! I’m seeing spirits!’” the actress added. “And he had all these waves around him too. And he goes, ‘Courteney, you’re asleep.’ I said, ‘No, I just woke you up! How can I be asleep?’ He’s like, ‘Well, I’m asleep. There are no ghosts.’ I did see them for sure.”

Ultimately, Courteney warded them off with a request.

“I said, ‘Thanks for visiting last night. That was fun. Do not come back tonight cause I have to sleep,’” she said. “And I didn’t see them again.”
