In Lakeland, Florida, a troubling case has emerged involving two women, one of whom holds a leadership position at a non-profit organization. Kristina Taylor, 36, the executive director of Hope House in Bartow, and her friend Tara Johnson, also 36, were taken into custody on Monday. The duo faces serious allegations of sexual cyber harassment.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office unveiled the details of the case, revealing that Taylor and Johnson disseminated sexually explicit images of a man without obtaining his consent. The investigation was set in motion on October 26 when deputies stumbled upon evidence that Taylor, who was once in a relationship with the victim, had learned about his new romantic involvement.

According to the detectives, Johnson harbored doubts about the victim’s character. Upon discovering his new relationship, she initiated contact with the man’s current girlfriend through Facebook, sparking a series of exchanges between the two women.

The investigation further revealed that Johnson sent explicit photos and a video featuring the victim and Taylor to his new partner. This breach of privacy has led to both women being charged, shedding light on the serious consequences of such actions in the digital age.

Detectives said that Johnson then sent the explicit photos and video of the victim and Taylor to the new girlfriend.

Detectives determined that both Taylor and Johnson electronically distributed sexually explicit images of the victim without his consent.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Taylor and Johnson and charged them with sexual cyber harassment.

Detectives said that Johnson is the executive director of Hope House in Bartow.
