Following an incident where the 48-year-old faced backlash for criticizing an elderly employee at Jersey Mike’s, which resulted in her being labeled as “disgusting” and “entitled,” Aydin lost a spot on a Real Housewives cruise. The controversy also prompted host Andy Cohen, 57, to address the situation publicly. In her Instagram post, Aydin shared a detailed update about her current status with the show, expressing that she hadn’t received any communication from producers and wouldn’t be attending the upcoming BravoCon. This development suggests she may not be part of the new season.
“Hey everyone, just wanted to give you all a quick update. Many of you have been asking whether I’m still part of the [show] or not. Honestly, no one has informed me either way, and I haven’t made any inquiries myself. Life’s been quite hectic, and I tend to think about it only when someone else brings it up. I prefer being transparent with you all,” she explained on October 30.
She went on to add, “I’ve only heard the same things you have. In fact, you might be more in the loop than I am. I’ve heard they are conducting test filming, but I wasn’t invited to BravoCon. Judging by that, it seems safe to assume I probably won’t be involved. And that’s perfectly fine. I’m doing well,” she concluded.
“And all I’ve heard is what you’ve heard. You probably know more than me, actually. I’ve heard they are test filming. And I wasn’t invited to BravoCon. So by the looks of it, I think it’s safe to say, probably not. And that’s OK. I’m good,” she continued.
In a second post, Jennifer spoke of a potential firing.
“Maybe that’s how they fire people these days, [by] just moving on without telling the person. Maybe it’s awkward for them. I don’t know. But if they did tell me, I would’ve said, ‘Thanks for letting me know, and thanks so much for the journey — wish you guys the best!’ And I mean that. I’ll always be grateful for my time on the show. It was quite the experience, to say the least,” she explained.
While Jennifer didn’t say that she’d been fired outright, she made it clear she was ready to move on from her time on RHONJ, which she joined in 2018 for season nine.
“So it’s time to keep it moving … and I got a podcast! It’s called TV Gold and it’s not about Housewives lol … Of course, I’ll touch on it at times since it was such a big part of my life, but the podcast is more going to be about pop culture, entertainment, fashion, health, wellness, and beauty! All with a flare of funny, handled by yours truly, Jennifer Aydin,” she revealed.
“So it’s out with the Old, and onto the Gold! With me Jennifer Aydin,” she concluded.

Jennifer then shared an additional statement on her Instagram Story.
“Message of the day: Don’t live in the past … Learn from it and move forward,” it read.

Following the sharing of her apparent exit announcement, Jennifer was met with a bevy of comments from her fans, many of whom expressed sadness.
“RHONJ will NEVER BE THE SAME. Jen was always real and always showed her life and didn’t have fake storylines like some,” one person wrote.
“What a loss to the show,” another agreed.
“I can’t watch if there’s no Jen Aydin! We love you,” shared a third.
Someone else said, “You’re still a gem with or WITHOUT the show. You came on and changed [RHONJ] for the better! We love you regardless! A class act and truly one of a kind person! My favorite housewife.”
And another person noted they would “miss seeing [Jennifer] on [RHONJ]!!”

No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15.
