Inside Dorothy Wang's intimate NYC courthouse wedding before lavish Italian nuptials

Dorothy Wang’s enchanting Italian wedding weekend held a deeper significance as she chose to first exchange vows in the city where her romance began.

Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” can exclusively share that before the reality star turned fashion icon and her husband, lawyer and film producer Brandon Yankowitz, celebrated their marriage with an opulent ceremony in Florence, Italy, on October 11, the couple discreetly formalized their union with a chic and intimate courthouse wedding in New York City.

Exclusive photos reveal the joyous couple radiating happiness as they pledged their love on a sunlit day in Manhattan, surrounded by the vibrant energy of the city that played a pivotal role in their love story.

Wang, at 37, shares that their choice to marry in NYC before traveling to Florence was a deeply personal one, rooted in the origins of their relationship.

“After moving from LA, I met Brandon in New York, actually at a Halloween party three years ago! We really are a New York love story,” she explains. “So much of our relationship and favorite memories are based and built in the city, and we have made it our home.”

Wang elaborates, “For us, it felt only right to have a courthouse ceremony, in the city that brought us together, before we left for Florence to celebrate with our family and friends.”

The affection in her voice echoes the joy seen in the courthouse photos, where she and Yankowitz look every bit the effortlessly stylish duo their loved ones know them to be.

Wang wore a stunning white ensemble sourced entirely from Tab Vintage — a fashion-girl move only she could pull off with such ease. Her look paired a vintage Armani top with a vintage Valentino skirt, marrying classic silhouettes with her modern, high-glam sensibility. She styled her hair in loose waves with a middle part, giving the look a romantic softness that perfectly complemented the understated elegance of the day.

Yankowitz matched her chic energy in head-to-toe Tom Ford, opting for a sharp black suit, crisp white shirt, dark tie and sleek loafers. With his hair slicked back, the lawyer-producer cut a timeless, polished figure beside his bride.

But their best accessory — as every photo makes clear — wasn’t the couture. It was the megawatt smiles they couldn’t contain as they officially became husband and wife before flying to Italy for their grand celebration.

That larger-than-life moment was every bit the extravaganza fans of the former “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” and “Bling Empire: New York” star would expect. Held at the historic Collegio alla Querce in Florence, the weekend-long fête blended opulence, tradition and over-the-top glamour.

Guests kicked off the festivities with a family-style rehearsal dinner, pasta-making classes and VIP tours of Palazzo Gucci. The couple also hosted a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honor Wang’s heritage — a meaningful nod to her family woven into the fashion-forward weekend.

And fashion, naturally, played a starring role. Wang stunned in a lineup of custom looks from some of the world’s most coveted designers.

She wore a Prabal Gurung Atelier creation for her rehearsal dinner, a couture sequin qipao by Laurence Xu for the tea ceremony and a bespoke Oscar de la Renta gown with what she described as a “Victorian romance” aesthetic for the main event.

For the reception, she slipped into Giambattista Valli haute couture before changing into a custom AKNVAS mini dress for the high-energy afterparty — which featured a surprise performance by Saweetie and a late-night menu of burgers and fries in lieu of a traditional wedding brunch.

The couple met in October 2022 after Wang moved to New York to film “Bling Empire: New York.”

They are now looking ahead to an additional celebration in Asia to accommodate even more loved ones.

But for all the grandeur, it’s the New York courthouse ceremony — sweet, stylish, and quietly profound — that Wang says will remain one of the most meaningful chapters of their wedding story.

In her own words, it was the moment that grounded everything that followed: the intimate beginning to a global celebration of love.

And judging by the photos, it was picture-perfect.
