Almost two months have passed since the discovery of Lake Elsinore teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s body in the front trunk of a Tesla at a Los Angeles towing facility, yet details surrounding her death remain elusive.
One aspect that stands out: the ongoing delay in finalizing her autopsy. This extended period is not uncommon as the Medical Examiner anticipates results from various tests, which could take several additional weeks.
Currently, as of October 31, Hernandez’s case (2025-14252) is marked as deferred, indicating that further investigation is needed. Experts who spoke with KTLA noted that this often includes waiting for toxicology reports and other analyses.
The Tesla, as previously reported, is connected to emerging R&B artist D4VD, who is reportedly cooperating with the investigation. However, the question remains: was any crime committed?
