PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. – While Fort Lauderdale is set to be its permanent base, Disney Cruise Line’s newest vessel, the Disney Destiny, is making a brief appearance in Central Florida this Sunday evening, much to the delight of locals and enthusiasts.
Having nearly completed a remarkable 5,000-nautical-mile journey from Europe, the Disney Destiny is adding a touch of magic to Port Canaveral on its way to its final destination at Port Everglades. This stop is part of the ship’s final preparations ahead of its eagerly awaited inaugural voyage.
Disney Destiny is the third addition to the Triton Class fleet, joining the ranks of Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, all of which operate from Florida’s sunny shores.

Aboard the ship, guests can look forward to new entertainment offerings, including “Disney Hercules,” a spectacular Broadway-style production, and Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, an immersive dining experience that celebrates the iconic music of “The Lion King.”
For a grown-up escape, guests can unwind in style at De Vil’s, an exclusive adults-only bar inspired by to Cruella de Vil.
As for iconic characters, guests can mingle with God of Mischief, Loki, in the Grand Hall and meet Hero Minnie Mouse.
