After enjoying a highly visible friendship, Selena Gomez now seems to be on less friendly terms with Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham. The trio initially connected in 2022 and quickly became inseparable, with Gomez playfully dubbing herself their perpetual third wheel. They were even inked with matching tattoos. However, recent behavior has fans speculating about a rift, as Gomez reportedly feels left out after the couple didn’t acknowledge her wedding.

On September 27, Gomez tied the knot with producer Benny Blanco. The event saw a host of celebrity guests, but noticeable by their absence were Beckham and Peltz. Whether they were not invited or chose not to attend remains unclear. What is apparent, though, is that Gomez feels slighted by their lack of response regarding her nuptials.
According to a source quoted by the Daily Mail, “Selena no longer expects anything from Nicola and Brooklyn. She feels a disconnect, especially since they didn’t even send a congratulatory message for her and Benny’s wedding, which hurt her deeply. Their lack of effort during such a significant time was a major disappointment.”
Despite the cooling of their friendship, Gomez still reportedly feels stung by their absence.
The source further explained, “Selena is fully committed to her friendships and feels as though she has been let down.”
“Selena is someone that really is 100% when she is in a friendship, and she feels like she’s been betrayed,” the source added.

Other sources say that there is no drama between Gomez, Peltz, and Beckham. They just aren’t as close as they once were.
“There’s no drama. Selena’s wedding was an intimate, private celebration with her inner circle,” a source said. “Relationships evolve, and while she and Nicola aren’t as close these days, there’s nothing but well wishes.”
Another source claimed that the former friends drifted apart. There was no one event that fractured their relationship.
“There’s no bad blood,” a source told People. “Relationships evolve, and it’s true they’re not as close as they once were, but there wasn’t any one thing that happened. There’s nothing but love and well wishes from them for Selena and Benny.”

While Peltz and Beckham were not present at Gomez’s wedding, many other celebrities were in attendance. Guests included Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Drew Barrymore, and Zoe Saldaña. Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift both spoke at the wedding.
“Taylor gave an extremely heartfelt speech at the wedding,” a source told Us Weekly. “She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now.”
People in attendance said the wedding had a warm, loving atmosphere.
