Singer Todd Snider arrested after reportedly being assaulted in Utah

In a surprising turn of events, musician Todd Snider found himself under arrest at a Salt Lake City hospital following an incident that initially cast him as a victim. The renowned singer-songwriter, known for his soulful tunes and engaging lyrics, was apprehended on charges of disorderly conduct while recuperating from an alleged assault.

The arrest occurred on Sunday, as documented by police records. Snider, who was in town as part of his tour promoting the latest album, “High, Lonesome and Then Some,” had been attacked outside his hotel. According to a statement released by Aimless Inc., representing Snider, the artist suffered “severe injuries” as a result of this “violent assault.”

The unfortunate situation has forced Snider to pause his tour indefinitely, with Aimless Inc. expressing regret over the unforeseen cancellations. “Todd will be unable to perform for an undetermined amount of time,” the statement revealed. “We deeply apologize for any cancellation and any inconvenience it causes. We appreciate your understanding as Todd receives needed medical treatment. We hope to have more information on new dates soon.”
