In a poignant revelation, Erika Kirk shared that her young daughter continues to ask about her father, nearly two months following his tragic assassination. Erika, who is now navigating life as a widow, expressed how these difficult inquiries have evolved into meaningful conversations.

During an emotional interview with Jesse Watters on Fox News, Erika opened up for the first time since losing her husband, sharing how she uses her daughter’s questions as opportunities for heartfelt lessons.

“It’s incredibly touching,” she described. “I explain to her that whenever she wants to talk to her dad, she can simply gaze up at the sky and speak to him, reassuring her that he can hear her.”

Erika recounted telling her daughter that her father is now in heaven. “She asked me, ‘Do you think I could go there sometime?'” Erika continued, her voice filled with emotion.

“I gently told her, ‘Sweetheart, we will all go there someday,'” she added, her eyes welling with tears.

Charlie and Erika Kirk had two children together, a son who turned 1 in May and a daughter who turned 3 in August.

Kirk, the 31-year-old conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot dead by a single bullet to the neck by alleged gunman Tyler Robinson while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

Watters told Fox & Friends hosts Wednesday morning that Erika Kirk believed at one point that her husband would survive  — but reality set in when she saw him at the hospital.

In the interview, Erika Kirk recalled a “smirk” on her slain husband’s face — which helped assure her that Charlie did not suffer, she said at her husband’s heavily attended funeral.

“We walked into that room and he had this smirk on this face,” she said. “That smirk to me is that look of ‘you thought you stopped what I’ve built. You thought you could end this vision, this movement, this revival. You thought you could do that by murdering me.

“You got my body, but you didn’t get my soul.”

The assassination, which was caught on camera from various angles and widely shared on social media, sent shockwaves throughout the country amid rising concerns about political violence.

Robinson, 22, was arrested days later after a frantic manhunt, and charged with aggravated murder and related crimes.

He could face the death penalty by firing squad if convicted.

Watters’ full interview with Kirk will air tonight at 8 p.m. on Jesse Watters Primetime.

“I almost started crying a few times when she talked about her children,” he shared. “You can feel the spirit of Charlie Kirk in Erika, and it’s just a real power.”
