In the aftermath, investigators are delving into the possibility that bullying may have been a catalyst for the attack. This line of inquiry arises amid reports suggesting that the suspect, possibly a grade 12 student, had been subjected to bullying and was seeking revenge through a planned suicide attack.

Adding a chilling dimension to the incident, police disclosed the recovery of a toy submachine gun from the suspect. Disturbingly, it bore inscriptions that appeared to be white supremacist slogans, a discovery that has intensified the investigation’s complexity.

Sigit said investigators are still collecting information, including how the suspect was able to assemble a toy submachine gun with words inscribed on it, including “14 words. For Agartha”, and “Brenton Tarrant: Welcome to hell”.
