Women Who Lead builds honors women, builds connection

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Women Who Lead Power Con recently brought together women from various parts of the region for a meaningful day of networking and community building, all aimed at fostering a better world.

This inspiring event shone a spotlight on women who have achieved remarkable success in sectors such as medicine, law, and entertainment. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from influential speakers, build connections, and engage in discussions about initiatives that can empower others within their communities.

Among the notable sessions, Denise Watts, Superintendent of the Savannah Chatham County Public School System, shared her insights on the transformative power of women supporting one another. She urged attendees to actively uplift those around them, stating, “Before we leave today, I challenge you to think of one woman, just one, whom you can encourage, mentor or elevate in the coming months because when women leave women, entire communities rise.”

In a special moment of recognition, Paula Kreissler, a retired executive from Healthy Savannah with 17 years of dedicated service, was celebrated with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on the community.
