When the lineup for I’m A Celebrity 2025 was unveiled last week, one name caught everyone’s attention: AngryGinge. But for those over 25, the question remained—who is AngryGinge?
For the under-25 crowd, however, the answer is clear. The 23-year-old Twitch streamer has solidified his status as a Gen Z sensation, amassing over five million followers across various social media platforms.
In a strategic move to captivate younger viewers, the show has increasingly featured social media stars such as GK Barry and Nella Rose in recent seasons.
Now, ITV executives are banking on the appeal of internet sensation Morgan Burtwistle—known to his fans as AngryGinge or AngryGinge13—to captivate audiences and boost viewership.
Now, ITV bosses are hoping that internet personality Morgan Burtwistle, better known by his online names Angryginge and Angryginge13, will draw in a big crowd.
And before the series has even started, Morgan has already been named the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle by bookmakers.

It’s an incredible feat for the young star, who only started his online content five years ago when he signed up for Twitch, a live-streaming service where users can watch and broadcast content, typically video games.
Users can make money from the site via channel subscriptions, adverts and Bits – a virtual currency that viewers can buy and use to show support for streamers.
Morgan filmed his first stream of FIFA gameplay in October 2020 after being inspired by fellow streamer Castro1021.
His success wasn’t overnight, with Morgan recalling he managed a peak of just 40 viewers with his first stream, which netted him £12.44.
After a few months he decided to take a break from Twitch after becoming ‘demotivated’ by only getting an average of six and seven viewers on his content.
Yet following the death of his grandfather from Covid in 2021 he returned to streaming full time – uploading content Monday to Friday to make a name for himself.
His persistence paid off, and after expanding to other social media sites, he soon began to make thousands all from the comfort of his bedroom.
In just the past year alone, Morgan is predicted to have made between £804,000 and £1.1 million from social media.

Morgan, who was raised by his mother on a council estate in Salford, Manchester, told indy100 of his success: ‘I think it’s gone down well because people can relate that I’ve come from the same place they’ve come from.
‘I’ve come from a council estate and I know what they go through and have been through and can bond with them and get to know them more on a personal level.’
His bio simply reads: ‘I’m ginger. I have a joke and a laugh don’t be offended!
‘My real name is Morgan. I play games and stuff. Come watch!! (Main Aim is to Entertain)’.

Since making a name for himself online, Morgan has been selected to take part in a number of charity football matches, including Soccer Aid.
After the match he became embroiled in a row with former Manchester City player Carlos Tevez, branding the footballer a ‘t**t’ online.
He had been injured after going in for a a strong slide tackle on the Argentinian, who made sure to leave something on him during the collision – a nasty cut on his leg.
Morgan shared a photo of the gash on his leg afterwards, writing ‘cheers Tevez, t**t’ on social media.
Taking to Twitch, he later bragged about his programme had been signed by other Soccer Aid favourites, before launching into a re-imagination of Zombie by the Cranberries.
‘In your head, in your head, Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-ez-ez, I’m in your head, in your head, Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-ez-ez,’ he taunted.

While he can’t count Carlos as a friend, he has built up a good relationship with Wayne Rooney.
The pair got to know each other by streaming FIFA and quickly became friends.
Morgan said of their bond: ‘The one thing I’ll say about Wayne Rooney is that he’s absolutely brilliant, he’s just a normal, down to earth lad and he’s hilarious, he’s funny, he’s my idol as well growing up.
‘The fact I’ve managed to go to his house and have a drink with him, let alone just to chill and speak to him is just crazy.’
He is also good friends with Britain’s Got Talent judge KSI (Olajide Olatunji) and last year he appeared on Netflix show InSIDE, a reality show hosted by KSI and members of the YouTube group Sidemen.
The series saw a group of reality stars and content creators, including Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, Made In Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley and YouTuber Specs Gonzalez, compete in challenges to secure £1 million, with everything they buy or do costing money from the prize fund.
Over the summer, Morgan also appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside darts player Luke Littler.

He hasn’t been without controversy, however.
In July, Morgan and two fellow streamers were arrested at the British Grand Prix after being accused of causing £30,000-worth of damage to an F1 car on display at Silverstone.
A police spokesperson revealed: ‘On Friday, July 4, Northamptonshire Police received a report that a classic car on display at Silverstone Circuit during the British Grand Prix event had sustained several thousands of pounds worth of damage, which was alleged to have been caused by someone accessing the display stand and climbing into the vehicle.
‘Officers carried out initial inquiries, and suspects were identified.
‘Three men, aged 23, 25 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a vehicle and taken into police custody.
‘Following a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the incident, all three men were released with no further action.’
Pictures on social media showed AngryGinge being led away by the police on Friday at a fan event at the iconic circuit.
Chazza and SamHam, also streamers, were the others accused of causing criminal damage to a BWT Racing Point F1 Team car – an accusation they all vehemently denied.
Morgan touched down at Brisbane airport on Monday alongside rapper Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, who will be joining him in the Jungle
Now, Morgan will be introduced to a new generation of viewers when I’m A Celebrity kicks off on Sunday.
He will join the likes of model Kelly Brook, and comedian-turned-mental health activist Ruby Wax, 72, in the Jungle.
The show has also signed soap icons Shona McGarty, who played Whitney Dean on EastEnders between 2008 to 2024, and Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, known for her role as Mandy Dingle.
They will join actor and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 64, as well as broadcasters Alex Scott, 41, and Vogue Williams, 40, and rapper Aitch, 25.
Jack Osbourne, 39, is also set to enter camp just four months after his rocker father Ozzy’s tragic death.
