Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes have rekindled their romance after a brief separation, according to multiple sources speaking exclusively to Us Weekly.

“Kelsea and Chase are giving their relationship another chance,” one insider revealed. “There remains a significant amount of love between them, making their reunion feel completely natural.”

Us Weekly has reached out to the representatives of both Ballerini and Stokes for comment on their renewed relationship.

Earlier this month, the couple was seen enjoying each other’s company near Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, as reported by an eyewitness to Us Weekly.

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes appear to be more in love than ever. The country music star, 31, expressed her admiration for the Outer Banks actor, 32, in an interview with People on Friday, October 11. She emphasized the importance of Stokes in her life, stating, “He has been such a significant and beautiful part of my life for nearly two years now.”

“He was very nice. We had a wee chat about how he was having a holiday in Scotland before going to Croatia to film the final season of Outer Banks,” Gemma Kennedy said of meeting Stokes on October 13, noting that the actor took selfies with her son and niece. “They both seemed really happy and smiley.”

Kennedy shared that Stokes and Ballerini, who were at Cannonball Restaurant & Bar, “seemed like the sweetest people” during their outing.

“They were very much loved-up and holding hands at the bar,” she added.

Neither Ballerini nor Stokes has publicly commented on the status of their relationship.

The loved-up appearance came two months after Us confirmed that Ballerini and Stokes had split following a two-year romance.

“It was a hard split,” a separate source told Us at the time. “They had been arguing a lot recently, and their communication wasn’t great in the last month. They were both traveling so much and trying to juggle everything, and the arguments piled up.”

The insider noted that Ballerini “initiated” the conversation surrounding the breakup, but explained that she and Stokes were both mature about the situation.

“There is still a lot of love between them. Although it’s been a few years, Kelsea is still coming out of a divorce and figuring out what she really wants, and she’s not in a place where she’s going to just settle,” the source said at the time, referring to her split from fellow country singer Morgan Evans in 2022. “Chase understood that, but in the end, they realized they weren’t aligning the way they hoped.”

Ballerini and Stokes were first linked in January 2023 after the musician slid into the actor’s DMs. Ballerini confirmed their relationship one month later.

“[My manager] was like, ‘You know who’s really cute, like, when you’re ready? Chase.’ I was like, ‘You’re so right,’” she recalled during a February 2023 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I just said, ‘Hi, Chase Stokes.’”

While reflecting on their relationship earlier this year, Ballerini gushed that she and Stokes are still evolving.

“You do [challenge each other], or it’s boring and then you’re stagnant and then that’s not going to work out,” she exclusively told Us in July. “I think we’re two and a half years in, so [the relationship] looks a lot different now than it did in the beginning. I don’t know, I think we’re really similar — and in the ways that we’re different, that’s where we challenge each other. … I just want all the good things in the world for him.”
