By mid-2025, her follower count has reached approximately 310 million, securing her a spot among the platform’s elite. Her posts this year have focused on her “Cowboy Carter” tour, sharing exclusive glimpses of her performances alongside family and former members of Destiny’s Child.
Conversely, Jay-Z has opted for a more understated approach to social media. His official Instagram account holds just 1 million followers, with posts appearing infrequently. His latest update dates back to August 2023, when he promoted The Book of Clarence.
A recent study by the women’s fashion brand Kaiia delved into fan-favorite celebrity duos in the U.S. The research revealed that Beyoncé and Jay-Z average 236,200 monthly searches. Coupled with their combined Instagram following of 311 million, this gives them a “couple popularity score” of 77.98, making them the second most popular pair in the study.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco beat Beyoncé and Jay-Z in popularity
In recent years, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have risen in public favor as a couple. Gomez holds the title of the most-followed female celebrity on Instagram in 2025, with around 417 million followers. Although her follower count occasionally fluctuates, her posts consistently draw millions of likes, maintaining strong engagement. Benny Blanco, too, has seen a boost in his Instagram visibility, gaining roughly 93,500 new followers recently, a growth spurred by his partnership with Gomez and their collaborative album release.
Over the years, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have seen their public profiles ascend together. Gomez stands as the most-followed female celebrity on Instagram in 2025, boasting approximately 417 million followers. While her account occasionally experiences slight declines in followers, her engagement remains strong, with each post routinely generating millions of likes and sustained influence. In contrast, Benny Blanco’s own Instagram has surged in visibility. He has gained around 93,500 new followers in recent months, fueled in part by his relationship with Gomez and their joint album rollout.
Their 2025 collaborative album, I Said I Love You First, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Singles like “Ojos Tristes” not only performed well commercially but also made history by topping Billboard’s newly introduced Hot Latin Pop Songs chart. The study from Kaiia notes that Gomez and Blanco have a lower monthly search volume than Beyoncé and Jay-Z (60,500 searches). However, they still have a “couple popularity score” of 98.68 — the highest on the list.
Zendaya and Tom Holland are the 3rd most popular celebrity couple
Beyoncé and Jay-Z and Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have the highest “couple popularity scores” in the study by a long shot. However, Zendaya and Tom Holland still came in third place.
Zendaya boasts an impressive 177 million followers on Instagram. Her posts, often showcasing her roles in upcoming films like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, as well as her personal milestones, consistently garner millions of likes and comments. Holland, while more reserved on social media, has amassed 63.6 million followers on his Instagram account.
According to the study from Kaiia, the couple has the highest monthly search volume of every celebrity couple on the list — 269,000 searches. However, they still only received a “couple popularity score” of 63.60.
